TNN Engineering has added another CNC Lathe to our fleet of machine tools. We have owned and operated CNC machining from Japan, Korea and Taiwan. For our newest machine, we have decided to purchase another Hyundai machine. Our first ever CNC lathe was a Hyundai from Korea and it is still in service today. You would normally associate Hyundai with motor cars and like their cars, they have improved their quality and design of their products.
The Hyundai WIA L210LA CNC Lathe has been commissioned with a bar feeder, parts catcher and tailstock. It is a fast and flexible machine and is suited to medium-sized production runs. It is equipped with a Japanese Fanuc controller. We have found over the years that the reliability and service backup of the Fanuc controllers is excellent.
While it has the capability to produce larger quantities of parts economically it is also equipped with shop floor programming. This allows the fast programming of small runs of precision components.
This machine has been working hard for us for a couple of months now and we are delighted with results.
