The process involves careful preparation of the parts prior to applying the painted finish. This involves cleaning away oils and residue left over from machining or welding. Any surfaces or features that do not require paint are then masked off or blocked. The part is then sandblasted which cleans and roughens the surface to allow the paint to key into and adhere to the component.
A Primer coat is first applied to seal and protect the surfaces from rust and contamination. The primer coat also provides an excellent foundation on which to apply the subsequent topcoats. We can supply parts with just the primer coat or can apply high quality topcoats in your specified colors.
